Purchasing Bid Schedule, Results, Tentative Awards

Bid Results are published online usually within one business day of the Bid opening date. These results will remain online for 90 days.

    Personal Property Disposal

In addition to procuring goods and services, the Thruway Authority routinely disposes of surplus materials and equipment in a public auction.

    Surplus Property Auction

All items offered for sale in auction have been determined by the New York State Thruway Authority (Authority) to be surplus to its needs. Most of the vehicles and equipment are non-operational or have exceeded their useful life and continued repairs to these items are not in the best interest of the Authority. Substantive deficiencies known to the Authority are so noted. However, the absence of such information does not mean that deficiencies do not exist nor does it change the terms of the sale which are "as is, where is", with no guarantee or warranty either express or implied.

Auctions are conducted by the Office of General Services (OGS) at various locations and dates throughout New York State. For additional information visit the OGS website at: https://ogs.ny.gov/public-auctions
