PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION FOR RANSOM ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT OVER THE THRUWAY (I-90) IN ERIE COUNTY

The New York State Thruway Authority will hold a public information session regarding the replacement of the Ransom Road Bridge over the Thruway (I-90) in the Town of Clarence and Lancaster.

The existing bridge will be replaced with a new structure that meets current standards including increased height clearance over I-90, reconstructed approaches on both sides of the bridge, and other safety upgrades. The existing bridge, built in 1953, carries approximately 4,000 vehicles per day.

The public information session will include several renderings on display, and representatives from the Thruway Authority will be available to answer questions about the project.
